Starting An Aesthetics Business

In this episode, I chat with Alisha Lombard, founder of The Face Aesthetics. Alisha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Soon after that, in the midst of the pandemic, she started her own aesthetics business where she works closely with doctors to curate the best skin care treatments and products. Alisha gets open and honest about how hard it was to walk away from calling herself an engineer and embarking on being an entrepreneur in the beauty industry.

Since recording this episode, Alisha has released her own skincare line, called Smash. Designed for busybodies on the go, a simplified but powerful skincare routine in a minimal amount of products. (Based in South Africa)
